Philosophy
We believe ... Teambuilding is a continuous process that should be practiced daily with input from all team members. The team concept is an individual choice of choosing group success over individual recognition. Team members must have a desire to want to work together. By learning fundamental team concepts, participants begin to practice and develop skills that can be transferred to the work environment.
Low Teambuilding Initiatives
This consists of a series of “ground level” initiatives designed to establish strong teamwork, a sense of support and placing group goals above those of the individual. Group members must work cooperatively to accomplish the objectives set for each initiative.

Alpine Tower
A state-of-the-art climbing structure that combines many of the high rope elements into one structure. The tower is 55 feet high and has over 30 routes to the top. Emphasis is placed on getting to the “top of your goal” rather than the top of the tower. If selected, a giant swing may also be used off one side of the Alpine tower.
Organizational Teambuilding
Camp Thunderbird has an exceptional teambuilding program appropriate for all ages. Our trained instructors assist your group through the course and the successful accomplishment of a variety of elements available to you. These include team initiatives (low ropes), a 35-foot double zip, 40-foot climbing wall and 50-foot Alpine tower.

What is Organizational Teambuilding?
Organizational teambuilding is a dynamic program specifically designed to help employees experience the key elements of success; to discuss and understand how they apply to their job; and how to transfer the unity, cooperation and team work back to the organization. The most successful businesses, departments or branches are those whose employees work as a team. There is a sense of purpose and group commitment ... a team spirit of cooperation and pride where people cheerfully help each other. The employee possesses a determination not to let their team down.
Who Should Attend?
This training is appropriate for a variety of different groups. It can be a small group from a church, school or team. It can also benefit larger groups and entire businesses. YMCA Camp Thunderbird Organzational Team-building can accommodate groups ranging from 15 to 50 people.
